The Levenhuk Wezzer PLUS range offers weather stations with advanced functions. All models can measure temperature and humidity, some are also equipped with barometers, rain gauges and weather forecasters.
Most instruments come with wireless sensors. You can use these to cover large areas and, therefore, monitor all of the changes in the microclimate.
The Wezzer PLUS LP70 weather station supplies you with detailed information about the current weather situation and climate within the house. A radio sensor measures the temperature, the humidity and the rainfall levels outside. It sends its readings to the base station, which takes internal readings itself, e.g. recording the temperature and humidity inside. The base station features a barometer, a weather forecaster, a trends display which shows the changes in the parameters, and an overall comfort rating. The station is designed so that you can be quickly informed about the current microclimate in your home.
The weather station also has a colour display which is split into multiple sections. You can read the weather forecast, air pressure, time, date and day form the middle of the display. You can find information about the external temperature, humidity and historical meteorological data in the form of a diagram on the left-hand side.
The highest and lowest values for humidity and temperature are saved. You can also see trends in rainfall levels for the day, week, month and even year. The rain gauge’s information is displayed on the right-hand side of the display along with the readings from the room thermometer and hygrometer.
The weather station features multiple types of alarm. On the one hand, a weather alarm sounds when a certain level of rainfall and external temperature is reached. The parameters can be set up by the user themselves. On the other hand, the integrated clock has an alarm function with a snooze feature.
The base station can be operated using batteries (3xAAA) or mains power. The remote sensors are battery operated (2xAAA per sensor).
