Watec and Mintron cameras are extremely sensitive analogue video cameras with a CCD microlens chip. They are widely found in astronomy as they are ideally suited for live viewing of DSOs, and photography of meteors and for minor planet occultations. The Watec is the successor to the Mintron camera.
